Padme Nightgown, Dorothy, etc

I worked for a while tonight, and got some good stuff done!

Padme’s Nightgown – Got the basic thing put together. I really don’t like this McCall’s pattern – it’s strange. I used it for the basic pieces, made it larger to take out the fitted aspect of the bodice, and completely eliminated the bonig. The way they had the straps being made was tedious and didn’t work well with my fabric (it was pulling it apart) so I did mine a different way. I got 4 of 6 of them made, but the first two I ruined thanks to following what the pattern said, so tomorrow I’ll remake them my own way.
I could have sworn I brought home my brooch Chase made, but I can’t find it anywhere.
I had to stop on it for the night, because I don’t have a zipper.

Dorothy – Got all the jumper pieces cut out, didn’t get to the white blouse parts.

Hoth Leia – I got all the vest pieces cut out, and pinned together and reshaped – didn’t cut out a collar, since none of the collars that came with the pattern would work. I was going to drawing out my quilting guildines, but I’m out of blue chalk – all I have is white now, so that’s another thing I need to pick up tomorrow.
